What separates a 10x marketer from just a very good marketer?
Quite simply, a 10x marketer is someone who is so good at marketing that they seem to have the ability to do the job of 10 people. The best way to explain how they do it is through the human body analogy.
First, let’s look at the brain of a 10x marketer. They are smart, understand statistical significance, and have an understanding of behavioral psychology. They are able to blend the analytical with the psychological.
Next, comes the eyes of a 10x marketer. They are able to see what is right in front of them rather than the future. In addition, they can see the real trends with people rather than just marketing trends. 10x marketers are able to follow the successful patterns not just in their own industries but also in unrelated industries and apply it.

The mouth of a 10x marketer understands that words are a craft and are more important than just design. They are able to use words to create a story. This doesn’t just include talking. It includes social posts, emails, blog posts, videos, sales pages, etc…
Next, let’s look at the ears of a 10x marketer. First and foremost, a great marketer is able to listen. They need to be able to listen to a lot of people in order to truly understand what they want and need.
Another important aspect of a 10x marketer is their hands. A great marketer must be willing to get their hands dirty. This means they need to stay up to date on all of the latest and greatest marketing tactics. In addition, they need to be able to understand a wide range of things in marketing, but at the same time have a very deep knowledge of a few areas.
The next aspect of a great marketer is their feet. They need to be fast and agile. A great marketer needs to be willing to test a lot even if it means making messes along the way. Perfection hates speed; however, on the other hand money loves speed. Therefore, as a good marketer you need to learn how to be fast on your feet.
The skin of a great marketer needs to be thick. This is important because they are often criticized for pushing the envelope too far.
Lastly, 10x marketers need to have a heart. They have to love their customers, want them to win, and empathize with them.
